We have rescheduled The History Talks from March’s Crabchurch Conspiracy Weekend 2018, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the snow. As a gesture of goodwill to those disappointed folks who booked previously and lost their booking fee, we have reduced the price of the tickets so now the face value of the ticket is only £12.50 each (the booking fee is also cheaper).

This year’s Talks will be held at Hope Church, in the heart of Weymouth’s historic quayside. Our Talks are perfect introduction for those new to this area of history, and an opportunity for experts to discuss and explore in greater depth.
We are pleased to say that this year, our venue is entirely wheelchair accessible, with toilet facilities and non-alcoholic refreshments available at the interval.
The programme will include:
Renowned author and academic Professor Ronald Hutton of Time Team, Timewatch & several other notable TV productions, whose talk will be entitled ‘Why Did The English Revolution Fail?’.
Joining Ronald will be Kit Berry, author of the acclaimed Stonewylde series, who will be talking about her journey in the writing of a new novel set on Portland during the time of the Crabchurch Conspiracy.
We are most honoured to welcome back to the Crabchurch History Talks, the only 17th century comedian & satirist in the world .. the one and only Bishop Bray who will be cleansing your souls and putting the world to rights as only he can.
